Yigal Azrouël launched his eponymous women's wear label in 1998 to wide acclaim and began his participation with 7th on 6th's New York Fashion Week the following year. In 2006, after entering the Bryant Park tent for the first time, the label felt its online presence needed an update.
Reflecting the label's breakthrough, their site went from a smaller, boxier form, to a high-resolution, fullscreen interactive runway and showroom.
Azrouël defined his aesthetic using high quality fabrics to drape ultra feminine, modern silhouettes. A purely functional interface was chosen as to recede unnoticably opposite Yigal's finely crafted pieces.
The animation, movement, and interactivity provide a sense of effortlessness that mimic label's attitude.
